The Zarrow Center on Learning Enrichment at The University of Oklahoma has sent out a request to participate in a survey being conducted by Eliza Jex (graduate student) and Bob Morgan (PhD and professor) from Utah State University. The purpose of this survey is to identify how transition level special education teachers use various formal and informal transition assessments, for the purpose of effective transition planning for their students.
This survey’s target audience is transition-level special education teachers who have at least one student on their caseload with a severe disability (as defined by the DSM-V). If you do not fit this category, please still open the survey and check this option on the first question in order to aide us in gaining an accurate response rate.
The survey is voluntary and completely anonymous. It will require no identifying information about you, or about your students. You are under no obligation to participate. The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
The results of this survey will be used for the purpose of future research, specifically what resources and training special education teachers need in order to more effectively and use formal and informal transition assessment procedures. If you choose to participate, they thank you for your time and effort and appreciate your honest feedback.
